The thought of people holding hands as they jumped to the their deaths out of the buildings on September 11th always gets to me. Its a thought that kept replaying in my head as I attempted to wash the dishes this morning before work.
Puts the fact that I wore a wig to Lex and Aeki Tuesday's birthday party into persepective...
There I was Saturday evening in my room trying to wedge myself into a black or white dress, feeling like a piece of greasy sausage...
I LOVE SAUSAGE! And pancakes and oreo ice cream sandwhiches and sundaies at Coldstone with sweet cream or coffee ice cream, yellow cake and oreos.
I LOVE OREOS!
But I digress....
The party went off without a hitch. Black and White was the theme but the overall motif was high end luxury.
Boldface Names: James Iha(Smashing Pumpkins), Nick Skinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Diane from Season 2 Project Runway, Jon Caramonica (Vibe), Rachel Kramer Bussel (Penthouse, Village Voice), Nichelle Newsletter, Radio City Rockette Carrie Janell, writers/staffers from Quick and Simple magazine, Time Out New York and House Beautiful and Popular Mechanics were also in attendance.
Classic sophicate brand Boru Vodka provided delicious vodka, Bond no. 9 donated Nuits de Noho, YRB Magazine represented as media sponsor thereby transforming that downtown rock bar into a hot bed of classy elegance.
That was of course until I shouted "costume malfunction!" and proceeded to point at the exposed nipple of one of the best dressed contestants.
I am an asshole!
But not as much as Buckwild, the white minstral, on VH1s Flavor of Love who bowed out of the contest as soon as Flava announced the re-entry of Season 1's "New York" into his crock pot of hoes.
New York: Believe it, Bitch! This is real! This is love!
...Or just a lame attempt to keep a dying horse from kicking the bucket.
Speaking of strange love, there is a very eerie picture of Anna Nicole and her now late son Daniel (RIP 09-10-06) on the front page of her blog.

Ever see "Spanking the Monkey"? The protagonist engages in some summer lovin' with his mother then fakes his own death to get away from her.
Maybe Daniel is hiding out in Flavor of Love's "Deelicious" bountiful dumpster truck sized ass? Or maybe he ran off with just booted out "Nibblez" aka "Nipples".
